Pharmacy Technician | Murfreesboro, Tennessee

This pharmacy technician role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic mail order and renal specialty pharmacy environment processing approximately 1,000 prescriptions daily. Located in Murfreesboro, TN, this contract position requires a full-time commitment of 40 hours per week with an ASAP start date.

Responsibilities include supporting pharmacy operations through two primary roles:

• Customer Service Technician: Verify shipping information, enter new patient data, and update patient profiles in the Wellsky pharmacy order entry system
• Dispensing Technician: Accurately fill and dispense medications to ensure timely delivery to patients

The pharmacy currently utilizes the Wellsky system without automation, so attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:
• Prior experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a retail, mail order, or specialty pharmacy setting
• Knowledge of pharmacy software systems, preferably Wellsky, is a plus
• Strong communication skills to support customer service functions
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment handling high prescription volume
