Pharmacy Technician - Murfreesboro, TN

An opportunity is available for a skilled Pharmacy Technician to support a busy mail order and renal specialty pharmacy processing approximately 1,000 prescriptions daily. This 13-week contract role, with potential for contract-to-hire, offers a Monday through Friday schedule from 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM and is ready for an ASAP start.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform dispensing tasks accurately, including medication filling and labeling.
• Provide excellent customer service by verifying shipping details and maintaining updated patient profiles.
• Enter new patient information into the pharmacy software system.
• Utilize the Wellsky order entry system as part of daily operations.
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure efficient workflow and patient safety.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Pharmacy Technician certification preferred, especially candidates holding both a Tennessee Pharmacy Technician license and PTCB national certification.
• Consideration will be given to highly experienced technicians without PTCB certification.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with mail order pharmacy operations is beneficial.
• Effective communication skills for customer service duties.

Schedule:
