Pharmacy Tech - Murfreesboro, Tennessee

A pharmacy technician opportunity is available with a leading mail order renal specialty pharmacy processing approximately 1,000 prescriptions daily. This 13-week+ contract position offers the potential to transition to permanent status based on performance and mutual fit. The role is full-time, Monday through Friday from 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM, with an ASAP start date.

Responsibilities include providing customer service support by verifying shipping details, entering new and updated patient information into the pharmacy software system, and assisting with medication dispensing duties. Technicians may be assigned to either customer service functions or dispensing tasks, working within a system that utilizes Wellsky order entry without automation.

Key Qualifications:

• Possession of a valid Tennessee Pharmacy Technician license is highly preferred.
• National certification as a Pharmacy Technician (PTCB) is strongly desired but candidates with substantial pharmacy technician experience without PTCB will also be considered.
• Experience working in a high-volume pharmacy environment, especially related to specialty pharmacy or mail order settings.
• Proficiency with pharmacy software systems, familiarity with Wellsky is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in both customer service and dispensing roles.
• Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adherence to pharmacy regulations.
