Pharmacy Technician - Murfreesboro, Tennessee

A 13+ week contract opportunity is available for experienced Pharmacy Technicians with a preference for candidates holding both a Tennessee license and PTCB national certification. This role offers a Monday through Friday schedule from 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM, working 40 hours per week, with an ASAP start. Contract-to-hire consideration is possible.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform customer service tasks including verifying shipping information and entering/updating patient profiles in the pharmacy system
• Dispense medications accurately and efficiently
• Utilize Wellsky pharmacy order entry system
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and pharmacy procedures
• Support high-volume operations within a mail order, renal specialty pharmacy that fills approximately 1,000 prescriptions daily

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Valid Tennessee Pharmacy Technician license preferred
• PTCB national certification strongly preferred
• Prior experience in a dispensing or customer service pharmacy technician role
• Comfortable working with manual processes (no automation)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and medication dispensing
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
