Pharmacy Technician - Murfreesboro, TN

Step into a dynamic role supporting a high-volume renal specialty pharmacy serving approximately 1,000 prescriptions daily. This 13-week+ contract opportunity offers a Monday through Friday schedule from 1:30 pm to 10:00 pm, providing consistency and structured hours. Responsibilities include working in either a customer service or dispensing capacity. Customer service technicians will verify shipping details, enter new patient information, and update profiles within the well-known Wellsky pharmacy order entry system. Dispensing technicians will focus on accurately filling and dispensing medications to meet patient needs. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently without automation support.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Tennessee Pharmacy Technician license strongly preferred
• PTCB National Certification highly desired, but candidates with solid hands-on pharmacy technician experience without PTCB will be considered
• Previous experience in retail, mail order, or specialty pharmacy settings advantageous
• Comfortable navigating pharmacy software systems, specifically Wellsky
• Excellent communication skills for patient-related data handling and teamwork
• Ability to work independently and meet stringent accuracy standards
