A healthcare facility in need of an experienced IV/Infusion Pharmacy Technician seeks a qualified individual for a 13-week contract position with the potential to transition to contract-to-hire. This role offers the opportunity to work under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, supporting infusion pharmacy operations with precision and care.

Location: Murfreesboro, TN

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday
• 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and fill prescriptions, including IV medications, under pharmacist supervision
• Prepackage medications for dispensing in compliance with regulatory standards
• Assist in final medication checks and coordinate timely delivery to customers
• Support billing processes by entering data to obtain reimbursement payments
• Maintain inventory by managing incoming medications, checking lot numbers and expiration dates, and supporting physical inventory counts
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and calibrated work environment alongside management and technician supervisors

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Prior IV pharmacy technician experience is required
• Possession of a valid Tennessee Pharmacy Technician license at the time of hire
• National certification preferred but not mandatory
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively within pharmacy regulation standards
