Pharmacy Technician | Muscoda, Wisconsin

This opportunity is ideal for a skilled Pharmacy Technician with hospital inpatient experience, seeking a 13-week assignment in Richland Center, WI. The role involves integral duties that support inpatient pharmacy operations, ensuring medication safety and efficiency within a hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Replenish Pyxis automated medication dispensing systems
• Conduct routine checking for outdated medications
• Restock medications, IVs, and necessary supplies
• Enter charges accurately into the system
• Order and receive drug shipments with proper documentation
• Monitor storage temperatures to maintain drug efficacy
• Prepare sterile products and chemotherapy medications in a cleanroom environment
• Perform daily cleaning and maintenance in the cleanroom
• Undertake other pharmacy-related duties as assigned

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday daytime shifts from 7 am to 7 pm
• Weekend shifts from 7 am to 3 pm, with every 4th weekend rotation
• Flexible weekday shifts of either 8 or 10 hours
• Immediate start available

Qualifications:

• Current Wisconsin Pharmacy Technician license or ability to obtain promptly
• Approximately 2 years of recent inpatient hospital pharmacy technician experience
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Knowledge of sterile product preparation and chemotherapy protocols preferred
