This hospital inpatient pharmacy technician assignment in Richland Center, WI offers an opportunity to support vital medication and sterile product management within a healthcare setting. The role focuses on ensuring accurate preparation and delivery of medications and supplies critical to patient care.

Responsibilities include:

  • Restocking Pyxis automated medication systems
  • Conducting outdate checks and restocking medications and IV supplies
  • Preparing sterile products and chemotherapy treatments
  • Entering charges and managing drug shipment orders and receipts
  • Monitoring storage temperatures and performing daily cleanroom maintenance
  • Assisting with other pharmacy duties as needed

Schedule and Assignment Details:

  • Monday through Friday shifts, 8 or 10 hours between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM
  • Weekend coverage with 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM shifts every 4th weekend
  • Immediate start with a 13-week contract duration

Qualifications:

  • Valid Wisconsin Pharmacy Technician license or ability to obtain quickly
  • Approximately 2 years of recent inpatient hospital pharmacy technician experience
  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to sterile compounding standards

This role is well suited for pharmacy technicians who are detail-oriented, comfortable with sterile and chemo preparations, and able to work varied shifts including weekends. The assignment provides hands-on inpatient experience in a hospital setting with a defined schedule and duration.
