An opportunity is available for an Evening Shift Production Pharmacy Technician at a closed-door Long-Term Care (LTC) facility located in Bardonia, New York. This role focuses exclusively on the dosage department and offers a consistent schedule that includes working every Saturday and Sunday, with Tuesdays and Thursdays off.

Schedule:

  • Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
  • Saturday, Sunday: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare medications accurately in appropriate packaging such as blister packs and unit-dose for timely delivery to residents.
  • Assist with ordering, receiving, and properly stocking medications while monitoring storage conditions and expiration dates.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient and medication records.
  • Work within software systems, primarily Frameworks (training available).

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy technician experience.
  • New York State pharmacy technician license preferred but not required.
  • PTCB certification preferred but not required.
  • Ability to thrive in a production environment with a volume of approximately 600 prescriptions per day.
