Pharmacy Technician in Nanuet, NY

Join a long-term care facility seeking a dedicated Evening Shift Production Pharmacy Technician to support medication preparation and inventory management in a closed-door environment. This Direct Hire opportunity offers a consistent schedule focused on dosage department responsibilities, providing vital support to residents through accurate medication dispensing.

Location: Bardonia, New York
Schedule:

• Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 3:00pm – 11:00pm
• Saturday, Sunday: 11:00am – 7:00pm
• Days off: Tuesday, Thursday

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare medications in appropriate packaging such as blister packs and unit-dose formats to ensure timely delivery to residents
• Assist in ordering, receiving, and stocking medications while monitoring proper storage conditions and expiration dates
• Maintain accurate patient and medication records to support compliance and safety standards
• Utilize Frameworks software system for daily workflow (training provided)
• Manage a volume of approximately 600 prescriptions per day

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Minimum one year of pharmacy technician experience
• New York State pharmacy technician license preferred but not required
• PTCB certification preferred but not mandatory
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
