A direct hire opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Technician to join a closed-door Long-Term Care (LTC) facility. The role focuses on day shift production with a specific schedule of Thursday through Sunday. This position offers hands-on experience in medication preparation and inventory management within a supportive environment that values accuracy and attention to detail.

Location: Nanuet, NY
Schedule:

• Thursday: 7:00am - 3:00pm
• Friday: 7:00am - 3:00pm
• Saturday: 9:00am - 5:00pm
• Sunday: 9:00am - 5:00pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare medications in appropriate packaging such as blister packs and unit-dose to ensure timely delivery to residents.
• Assist with ordering, receiving, and stocking medications while monitoring proper storage and expiration dates.
• Maintain accurate patient and medication records, supporting compliance and safety standards.
• Operate within the software framework system; training will be provided to facilitate smooth onboarding.
• Manage a medication volume of roughly 600 prescriptions per day.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Preferred but not required: NY State Pharmacy Technician License.
• Preferred but not required: PTCB certification.
• Minimum of 1 year pharmacy technician experience is required.
• Willingness to work the specified Thursday through Sunday schedule.
