Join a retail pharmacy team seeking a Spanish-speaking Pharmacy Technician to support daily operations at a busy site in the Chicago area. This per diem position offers 2 to 3 days per week, providing flexibility for candidates wanting to supplement their experience or schedule.

Location:

  • Chicago, IL

Schedule:

  • 2-3 days per week (Monday – Saturday)
  • Hours of operation: Monday – Thursday 9 AM to 5 PM; Friday & Saturday 9 AM to 2 PM
  • Closed Sundays

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with over-the-counter (OTC) duties and filling 50-75 prescriptions daily
  • Communicate effectively with patients in Spanish and English, both over the phone and in person
  • Provide excellent customer service by responding to patient inquiries and assisting with medication needs
  • Perform retail pharmacy functions within the Best Rx system (training provided)

Qualifications:

  • Active Illinois Pharmacy Technician license required
  • Spanish fluency required to support patient communication
  • Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification preferred but not required
  • Retail pharmacy experience preferred; new graduates eager to learn will be considered
