Job Type: Contract (13 weeks) with intent to hire
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, rotating shifts: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, 2:30 PM - 10:00 PM
- Rotating weekends
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and compound sterile medications and batches in the clean room environment
- Manage crash carts preparation and ensure Omnicell and auto cart fill systems are accurately stocked
- Perform inpatient pharmacy technician duties supporting medication distribution and verification processes
- Collaborate closely with clinical staff to ensure timely and accurate medication delivery
Qualifications and Experience:
- Illinois Pharmacy Technician License (required)
- PTCB certification (required)
- Proven experience working in inpatient hospital pharmacy settings
- Solid background and confidence in sterile compounding techniques
