Pharmacy Tech | Nashville, Tennessee

This opportunity is for pharmacy technicians to support a busy mail order renal specialty pharmacy filling approximately 1,000 prescriptions daily. Openings include one technician on the 11:30 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. shift and two technicians on the 1:30 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. shift. These are 8-week assignments with a 40-hour workweek and an ASAP start date. The pharmacy uses the Wellsky order entry system and operates without automation.

Responsibilities include customer service tasks such as verifying shipping details, entering and updating patient information in the system, or dispensing medications accurately in the filling area. Candidates will gain valuable experience in both patient interaction and medication preparation.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB certification required for permanent consideration)
• Previous experience in pharmacy technician roles preferred
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Experience with pharmacy software systems is a plus

Location: Lavergne, TN

This role is a contract position with potential to convert to a temp-to-hire opportunity contingent upon certification verification and performance.

Schedule:

• One position: 11:30 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
• Two positions: 1:30 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
• Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week
