This contract opportunity in the Lavergne, TN area offers a chance to work in either customer service or dispensing roles, with a potential path to temp-to-hire status for certified candidates.
Location: Lavergne, TN (near Nashville, TN)
Schedule:
- One technician: 11:30 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
- Two technicians: 1:30 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
- 40 hours per week
- 8-week assignments starting ASAP
Key Responsibilities:
- In a customer service role: verify shipping info, enter new patient data, update patient profiles using pharmacy software (Wellsky system)
- In a dispensing role: accurately fill and dispense medications
- Maintain high standards of accuracy and patient safety in all tasks
Desired Qualifications:
- Pharmacy Technician experience, especially in dispensing or pharmacy software data entry
- Ability to work independently and follow established procedures
- PTCB certification required for consideration of permanent placement
- Reliable availability for assigned shifts during contract period
