Pharmacy Technician - Nashville, TN

Support pharmacy operations as a Pharmacy Technician in a fast-paced renal specialty and mail order pharmacy. This role involves working in either customer service or dispensing capacities to ensure accurate processing and fulfillment of prescriptions.

Location: Lavergne, TN

Schedule:

• One technician needed for 11:30 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. shift
• Two technicians needed for 1:30 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. shift
• 40 hours per week

Assignment duration: 8 weeks, with opportunity to transition to a permanent position requiring PTCB certification.

Key Responsibilities:

• In customer service role: Verify shipping information, enter new patient data, and update patient profiles using Wellsky pharmacy software
• In dispensing role: Accurately fill and dispense medications in compliance with pharmacy procedures and safety standards
• Collaborate with pharmacy team to support smooth workflow and timely prescription processing
• Maintain high levels of accuracy and attention to detail

Desired Qualifications:

• Prior pharmacy technician experience, ideally in mail order or specialty pharmacy settings
• Familiarity with pharmacy software systems (experience with Wellsky is a plus)
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a deadline-driven environment
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
