Pharmacy Technician - Nashville, TN

This opportunity is for a Pharmacy Technician to support a busy mail order renal specialty pharmacy handling approximately 1,000 prescriptions daily. The role offers a 13-week assignment with the potential to transition into a temp-to-hire position. Certification (PTCB) will be required for permanent placement consideration.

Schedule/Hours:

• 40 hours per week
• Immediate start

Location:

• Nashville, TN (flexible for candidates ready to travel or relocate)

Responsibilities:

• Perform pharmacy technician duties in either customer service or dispensing roles
• In customer service, verify shipping information, enter new patient data, and update patient profiles using the Wellsky pharmacy order entry system
• In dispensing, accurately fill and prepare medications for shipment
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy policies and procedures
• Maintain organized and accurate records within the pharmacy system
• Support efficient workflow in a high-volume mail order environment that operates without automation

Desired Experience:

• Previous experience as a pharmacy technician, preferably in a mail order or specialty pharmacy setting
• Familiarity with pharmacy software systems, ideally Wellsky
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and dispensing
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills for customer service tasks

Certification:

• PTCB certification required for permanent placement eligibility
