Pharmacy Technician - Nashville, TN

A pharmacy technician opportunity is available for a 13-week assignment in Nashville, TN, with potential for a temp-to-hire transition. Certification by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) will be required for permanent placement consideration.

Schedule/Hours:

• 40 hours per week
• ASAP start

This role supports a mail order, renal specialty pharmacy that fills approximately 1,000 prescriptions daily. The pharmacy utilizes the Wellsky order entry system without automation.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing customer service by verifying shipping information, entering new patient data, and updating patient profiles within the pharmacy software
• Filling and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently as part of the dispensing team

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail, specialty, or mail order setting
• Ability to work diligently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with pharmacy software systems, preferably Wellsky, is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• PTCB certification for those seeking permanent positions
