Pharmacy Technician - Nashville, TN

An opportunity is available for two certified Pharmacy Technicians registered with the Tennessee Board of Pharmacy to support a renal specialty mail order pharmacy servicing approximately 1,000 prescriptions daily. This contract role offers a 13-week assignment with the potential to transition into a temp-to-hire position for candidates holding a Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• 40 hours per week
• ASAP start

Location: Nashville, TN

Responsibilities:

• Customer Service Technician duties include verifying shipping details, entering new patient information, and updating patient profiles using the Wellsky pharmacy order entry system.
• Dispensing Technician duties encompass accurately filling and dispensing medications.
• Both roles require attention to detail, strong communication, and adherence to pharmacy policies.
• Work in a non-automated environment supporting patient care and prescription accuracy.

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the Tennessee Board of Pharmacy
• PTCB certification required for permanent placement consideration
• Prior experience in a retail or mail order pharmacy setting preferred
• Familiarity with pharmacy software systems is a plus
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively
