Pharmacy Technician - Nashville, TN

A mail order renal specialty pharmacy is seeking Part-time Pharmacy Technicians to support its high-volume operation, filling approximately 1,000 prescriptions daily. This contract position offers an opportunity to contribute to patient care through either customer service or dispensing roles, utilizing Wellsky pharmacy order entry software without automation.

Location:

• Nashville, TN

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm
• Immediate start

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service Technician duties include verifying shipping information, entering new patient data, and updating patient profiles in the pharmacy system.
• Dispensing Technician duties focus on accurately filling and dispensing medications to meet pharmacy standards.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and team members to ensure smooth pharmacy operations.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a pharmacy technician, preferably in a mail order or specialty pharmacy setting.
• Proficiency with pharmacy order entry systems; experience with Wellsky is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, especially in handling prescription data and patient information.
