Pharmacy Technician in Nashville, TN

Located in a Nashville, TN suburb, this contract role offers a dynamic environment within a busy mail order renal specialty pharmacy processing approximately 1,000 prescriptions daily. This 13-week assignment, with potential to transition into a temp-to-hire position, offers 40 hours per week with an ASAP start.

Two shift schedules are available:

• Day Shift: 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM
• Evening Shift: 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM

Pharmacy technicians in this role will support either customer service or dispensing functions. Customer service duties include verifying shipping details, entering new patient information, and updating patient profiles within the Wellsky pharmacy order entry system. Dispensing technicians will focus on accurately filling and dispensing medications without automation support, requiring attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Experience as a pharmacy technician in a pharmacy setting is preferred
• Familiarity with Wellsky or similar pharmacy order entry systems is a plus
• Ability to perform tasks accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
