A mail order renal specialty pharmacy is seeking skilled Pharmacy Technicians to support their team. This contract position offers a full 40-hour workweek with an ASAP start, providing an excellent opportunity for pharmacy technicians experienced in both customer service and dispensing roles within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform tasks in a customer service capacity, including verifying shipping information, entering new patient data, and updating patient profiles in the pharmacy software system.
• Accurately fill and dispense medications in adherence to established protocols.
• Utilize Wellsky pharmacy order entry software to process approximately 1,000 prescriptions daily.
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and other pharmacy staff to ensure efficient workflow.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician, preferably in a mail order or specialty pharmacy setting.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy software systems, with experience using Wellsky considered a plus.
• Attention to detail and ability to accurately process high prescription volumes.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
• Ability to perform in both customer service and dispensing capacities.
