Pharmacy Technician in Nashville, TN

This opportunity offers a dynamic role in a busy mail order, renal specialty pharmacy serving approximately 1,000 prescriptions daily. The position entails a 13-week+ contract with potential for contract-to-hire, working 40 hours per week from Monday through Friday, 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM, with an ASAP start.

Responsibilities include working in either a customer service capacity or a dispensing role within the pharmacy. Customer service technicians will focus on verifying shipping details, entering new patient data, and updating patient profiles using the Wellsky pharmacy order entry system, which operates without automation. Dispensing technicians will be responsible for accurately filling and dispensing medications to meet patient needs.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Valid Tennessee Pharmacy Technician license highly preferred
• PTCB national certification strongly preferred but candidates with solid experience will be considered
• Proficiency with pharmacy software systems, preferably Wellsky
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in dispensing and patient information management
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Ability to start promptly upon credentialing and readiness to accept an auto-offer
