Pharmacy Tech - Nashville, Tennessee

A contract opportunity is available for an experienced Pharmacy Technician supporting a busy specialty pharmacy focused on mail order and renal care. This role offers a Monday through Friday schedule from 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM, providing consistent weekday hours over a 13-week assignment with the possibility to transition to permanent employment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate medication dispensing to support daily prescription volume of approximately 1,000 orders.
• Engage in customer service activities, including verifying shipping details, entering new patient profiles, and updating patient information in the pharmacy system.
• Utilize Wellsky pharmacy software for order entry in a non-automated environment.
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy protocols and ensure quality standards in all tasks.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Pharmacy Technician license for Tennessee strongly preferred.
• National PTCB certification is highly desirable but candidates with solid pharmacy technician experience will be considered.
• Proven ability to work efficiently in both dispensing and customer service roles.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to handle a high volume of prescriptions.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with pharmacy staff and assist patients.

• Full-time, 40 hours per week
