Pharmacy Technician | Nashville, Tennessee

An IV/Infusion Pharmacy Technician opportunity is available in Nashville, TN for a 13-week contract with potential for contract to hire based on performance. This role supports the pharmacy by preparing IV medications, assisting pharmacists, and maintaining inventory in compliance with regulatory standards.

Location: Nashville, Tennessee
Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
• 13-week contract with possible conversion to permanent

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and fill prescriptions under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist
• Compound IV medications accurately for infusion
• Collaborate with Billing to ensure proper data entry and reimbursement processing
• Assist in final prescription checks and packaging following pharmacist review
• Maintain accurate inventory records, including lot numbers and expiration dates
• Support pharmacy management in receiving, rotating stock, and physical inventory counts
• Ensure a clean, safe work environment and assist with equipment calibration and safety checks

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current Pharmacy Technician license issued by Tennessee
• Previous IV pharmacy technician experience is required
• National certification is preferred but not mandatory
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow regulatory standards
• Ability to work collaboratively under pharmacist supervision
