A healthcare facility in Nashville, TN seeks an experienced IV/Infusion Pharmacy Technician for a 13-week contract with potential for contract-to-hire based on performance. This role demands precision and responsibility in preparing IV medications under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, ensuring adherence to stringent safety and regulatory standards.

Shift Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and fill prescriptions, including IV medications, under direct pharmacist supervision.
• Collaborate with the Billing Supervisor to enter prescription data for reimbursement processing.
• Assist in prepackaging medications following government regulations and quality standards.
• Support pharmacists in final prescription verification and medication packaging.
• Help maintain accurate inventory records, including receipt, rotation, and documentation of medication supplies.
• Ensure cleanliness and safety of the work environment; monitor calibration and condition of equipment.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Tennessee Pharmacy Technician license.
• Prior IV/infusion pharmacy technician experience is required.
• National certification as a Pharmacy Technician is preferred, but not mandatory.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established protocols.
