A pharmacy technician with IV/infusion experience is needed for a 13-week contract assignment in Nashville, TN, with the option to transition to a permanent role based on performance. This position requires working under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist to prepare and dispense prescriptions, including intravenous medications, while maintaining strict adherence to safety and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing IV compounds and filling prescriptions accurately under pharmacist supervision
• Collaborating with Billing Supervisor to enter data and facilitate reimbursement processes
• Assisting pharmacists with final prescription checks and packaging
• Supporting inventory management—receiving, rotating stock, tracking lot numbers and expiration dates
• Maintaining a clean, safe work environment and ensuring equipment is properly calibrated and safe to use

Desired qualifications and experience:

• Prior IV pharmacy technician experience is required
• Hold a current Tennessee Pharmacy Technician license
• National certification is preferred but not mandatory

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
