A Long-Term Care pharmacy located in the New Haven, CT area is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician for an immediate 4-week contract assignment. This fast-paced role supports medication dispensing for patients with intellectual and developmental disorders, ensuring accurate preparation and distribution of pharmaceutical products.

Responsibilities:

  • Fill medication orders accurately and efficiently
  • Blister pack and label prescriptions according to protocols
  • Utilize Frameworks pharmacy system for order processing
  • Manage high volume workload while maintaining attention to detail

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Current CT Pharmacy Technician license in hand (required)
  • Prior experience in Long-Term Care pharmacy preferred; retail pharmacy technicians with strong volume-handling ability will be considered
  • Familiarity with blister packing and medication labeling procedures
  • Ability to work an 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. shift, flexible to start early or stay late as needed

Schedule:

  • Full-time shifts, Monday through Friday
  • Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
