Urgent Opportunity for Licensed Pharmacy Technician – Long-Term Care Focus

An immediate opening is available for a Pharmacy Technician to support a specialized pharmacy serving long-term care and intellectual developmental disorder (IDD) populations. This position is based at a well-established Connecticut site and requires a licensed CT Pharmacy Technician ready to start promptly.

Key Details:

• Location: Connecticut (Rocky Hill area)
• Job Type: Contract (4 weeks)
• Schedule: Shift runs 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM; candidates must be available to start at 8:00 AM or work through 6:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill prescriptions and prepare blister packs
• Label medications with precision and attention to detail
• Operate using pharmacy software Frameworks
• Manage workflow efficiently to handle high volume typical of LTC settings

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Current Connecticut Pharmacy Technician license is mandatory
• Prior experience in long-term care pharmacy preferred, but strong retail pharmacy technicians are encouraged to apply
• Ability to maintain high accuracy and speed to meet volume demands
• Familiarity with blister packaging and medication labeling procedures
