An opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Technician to support daily operations on a per diem basis in the Newark, New Jersey area. This role requires strong attention to detail and customer service skills within a retail pharmacy setting. Candidates should be prepared to work on select dates through early June with weekday, first-shift hours.
Responsibilities:
- Enter patient information and prescription orders accurately into the system.
- Assist pharmacists in the dispensing of prescription medications.
- Monitor and manage over-the-counter inventory to maintain adequate stock.
- Provide attentive and effective customer service, addressing customer needs and inquiries.
- Collaborate with third-party prescription plans to resolve adjudication issues and ensure smooth prescription processing.
Qualifications:
- Active and clear pharmacy technician license for the state of New Jersey.
- Prior experience in a retail pharmacy environment preferred.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a strong advantage.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.

- Newark, New Jersey
Schedule:
- Per diem assignment covering May 18th, May 22nd, May 27-29th, and June 1-5
- Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, 1st shift
