Per Diem Pharmacy Technician in New York, NY

This role offers the opportunity to support pharmacy operations as a Retail Pharmacy Technician on a per diem basis in Newark, New Jersey. The position involves assisting pharmacists in dispensing prescriptions, managing inventory, and delivering excellent customer service during weekday shifts.

Responsibilities include:

• Accurately entering patient information and prescription orders into the system
• Assisting in the preparation and dispensing of medications under pharmacist supervision
• Managing over-the-counter inventory to maintain adequate supply levels
• Greeting and helping customers with inquiries and concerns, ensuring a positive experience
• Collaborating with third-party prescription plans to resolve adjudication issues and facilitate prescription processing

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Active and clear Pharmacy Technician license valid in New Jersey
• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred, enhancing communication with diverse customers
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment

Location:

Schedule:

• Shifts are primarily 1st shift, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Specific assignment dates include May 18th, May 22nd, May 27th-29th, and June 1st-5th

This assignment allows pharmacy technicians to contribute to patient care and pharmacy efficiency on a flexible per diem schedule. Candidates contracted for this role will engage actively with the daily operations of a busy retail pharmacy setting.
