Join a long-term care facility in New York, NY as a Day Shift Production Pharmacy Technician in a closed-door setting. This direct hire opportunity requires a reliable candidate willing to work the Thursday through Sunday shift, with a start date as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare medications accurately in appropriate packaging such as blister packs and unit-dose containers for timely distribution to residents.
  • Assist with ordering, receiving, and stocking medications, ensuring proper storage conditions and monitoring expiration dates.
  • Maintain precise patient and medication records in compliance with facility standards.
  • Utilize the Frameworks software system for dispensing processes; training will be provided.

Schedule:

  • Thursday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Saturday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Sunday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Desired Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a pharmacy technician.
  • New York State Pharmacy Technician License preferred but not required.
  • Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment processing approximately 600 prescriptions per day.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to medication safety and accuracy.
