A direct hire opportunity is available for a Day Shift Production Technician in a closed-door Long-Term Care (LTC) facility. This role requires dedication to detail and a strong commitment to supporting residents by preparing medications accurately and efficiently. Candidates must be willing to work a Thursday through Sunday schedule, ensuring consistent and reliable pharmacy operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare medications in appropriate packaging, such as blister packs and unit-dose formats, to support timely medication delivery to residents.
  • Assist with medication ordering, receiving, and stocking, while monitoring proper storage and expiration dates.
  • Maintain accurate patient and medication records to ensure compliance and patient safety.
  • Utilize pharmacy software systems; experience with Frameworks is a plus, with training provided.
  • Manage a daily volume of approximately 600 prescriptions.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy technician experience.
  • New York State pharmacy technician license preferred but not required.
  • Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a pharmacy team.

Schedule:

  • Thursday: 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
  • Friday: 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
  • Saturday: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Sunday: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
