Pharmacy Technician | New York, New York

Join a closed-door Long-Term Care facility in New York, NY, as a Day Shift Production Pharmacy Technician. This direct hire opportunity requires availability to work Thursday through Sunday, supporting medication preparation and distribution for roughly 600 prescriptions daily. Experience and dedication to quality patient care are essential.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare medications in appropriate packaging such as blister packs and unit-dose forms for timely delivery to residents.
• Assist with ordering, receiving, and stocking medications while monitoring storage conditions and expiration dates.
• Maintain accurate patient and medication records in compliance with facility standards.
• Use Frameworks software system; training is provided.

Schedule:

• Thursday: 7:00 am – 3:00 pm
• Friday: 7:00 am – 3:00 pm
• Saturday: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
• Sunday: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy technician experience.
• NY State Pharmacy Technician license preferred but not required.
• PTCB certification preferred but not required.
• Ability to work a consistent Thursday-Sunday schedule.
