Retail Pharmacy Technician in Newark, NJ

This retail pharmacy technician role offers the chance to work in a dynamic pharmacy environment utilizing Rx30 pharmacy system software. The position is based in Montclair, NJ, supporting daily pharmacy operations and providing exceptional service to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill and dispense prescriptions following established protocols
• Assist pharmacists with inventory management and medication stocking
• Provide friendly, knowledgeable customer service in a retail setting
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Manage cash registers and process transactions as needed

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Previous experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail pharmacy environment
• Familiarity with Rx30 pharmacy system considered a strong advantage
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with customers and team members
• Pharmacy Technician certification/license preferred

Schedule:

• Monday through Thursday: 9:00 am – 8:00 pm
• Friday: 9:00 am – 7:00 pm
• Saturday: 10:00 am – 4:00 pm
• Sunday: Closed
• Full-time preferred; part-time candidates will be considered
