Pharmacy Technician | Newark, New Jersey

Pharmacy Technicians are sought for a direct hire opportunity located in Sayreville, New Jersey, supporting a fast-growing, closed-door pharmacy specializing in UPNEEQ® therapy. Operating primarily on the 1st shift, this role involves managing a high volume of prescriptions, approximately 900 scripts per day, using Prime Rx software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls with patients and healthcare providers to facilitate accurate and timely order processing.
• Provide exceptional customer service, addressing patient and physician inquiries professionally and efficiently.
• Identify and report any adverse events per company protocols.
• Maintain precise and up-to-date patient, physician, and prescription records.
• Assist the pharmacy team with prescription preparation and other essential pharmacy activities.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Active and clear Pharmacy Technician license in New Jersey.
• Minimum of 1 year of Pharmacy Technician experience; mail order or closed-door pharmacy experience preferred. Retail experience is acceptable.
• Strong data entry skills and attention to detail.
• Stable work history, with preference given to candidates demonstrating commitment and avoiding frequent job changes in the pharmacy field.
