Pharmacy Technician | Newark, New Jersey

This opportunity is for a Pharmacy Technician role supporting a fast-growing closed-door pharmacy specializing in access to a first-in-class therapy. Working on a variable schedule with day and mid shifts between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM, you will manage a high volume of inbound and outbound calls, assist patients with their orders, and support the pharmacy team with prescription preparation and data entry. The pharmacy utilizes Prime Rx software and handles an average of 900 prescriptions per day. This is a temp-to-perm position with an assignment duration of approximately 8 to 13 weeks. The role is located in Sayreville, New Jersey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a high volume of calls to and from patients and healthcare providers with professionalism
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and physicians
• Identify and report adverse events following company SOPs
• Accurately create and maintain patient, physician, and prescription records
• Support prescription preparation and data entry processes

Qualifications:

• Active and clear Pharmacy Technician license in New Jersey
• Minimum of 1 year of Pharmacy Technician experience, ideally in a mail order or closed-door pharmacy setting (retail candidates considered)
• Strong data entry skills with attention to accuracy
• Preference given to candidates with stable work history and no recent job hopping

Schedule:

• Variable days and mid shifts
• Typically 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, with 2 closing shifts per week
