This opportunity seeks a skilled Pharmacy Technician to support a fast-growing, closed-door pharmacy specializing in a first-in-class therapy. The role involves managing a substantial volume of inbound and outbound patient calls, ensuring accurate prescription preparation, and maintaining reliable patient and physician records. This position offers a contract to hire arrangement, ideal for candidates aiming to transition into a permanent role.

Location: Sayreville, New Jersey
Contract Type: Temp to Perm, 8-13 Weeks
Shifts: Variable schedule including day and mid shifts, with two closing shifts weekly, operating between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM
Average Script Volume: Approximately 900 prescriptions per day
Pharmacy Software: Prime Rx

Responsibilities:

• Handle a high volume of calls from patients and healthcare providers with professionalism
• Deliver exceptional customer service to patients and physicians
• Identify and report any adverse events following company procedures
• Accurately create and maintain patient, physician, and prescription records
• Provide comprehensive support to the pharmacy team in various operational tasks

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active and clear Pharmacy Technician license in New Jersey
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Pharmacy Technician, preferably within a mail order or closed-door pharmacy setting (retail experience considered)
• Proficient data entry skills with strong attention to detail
• Reliable work history without frequent job changes in recent years
