Per Diem Pharmacy Technician in Newark, NJ

A retail pharmacy is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to provide high-quality support in daily operations. This per diem opportunity is based in Newark, New Jersey, offering the chance to contribute to patient care in a fast-paced retail environment. Schedule/Hours:

• Monday through Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
• First shift

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter patient information and prescription orders into the computer system.
• Assist pharmacists with dispensing prescription medications.
• Manage and order over-the-counter (OTC) inventory to maintain adequate stock levels.
• Provide attentive and courteous customer service, addressing questions and concerns.
• Collaborate with third-party prescription plans to resolve adjudication issues for smooth prescription processing.

Qualifications:

• Must hold a valid and active Pharmacy Technician license in the state of New Jersey.
• Bilingual Spanish speakers are highly preferred to better serve the diverse community.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
