Pharmacy Technician | Newport, Oregon

Schedule:

• Day shifts with rotating weekends
• Start: ASAP
• Duration: 13 weeks

Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense community patient prescriptions in an outpatient pharmacy setting
• Assist with immunizations and medication management programs
• Prepare discharge medications for patients at bedside
• Utilize EPIC Willow Ambulatory electronic medical records (EMR) system efficiently
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations and procedures

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Current unencumbered Certified Oregon Pharmacy Technician License required at application
• Experience in outpatient or retail pharmacy settings such as Rite Aid, Walgreens, or similar preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proficiency with EPIC Willow Ambulatory EMR system required
• Sterile compounding experience is a plus
• Completion of a Medical Pharmacy Technician course preferred
• Successful pre-employment drug screen required
