Pharmacy Technician - Newton, KS

This 13-week inpatient pharmacy technician opportunity offers valuable experience in a hospital setting, focused on supporting medication dispensing and pharmaceutical services. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists in providing medications, drug information, and related pharmaceutical services to healthcare staff
• Prepare sterile IV admixtures with accuracy and adherence to protocols
• Receive and store incoming medication and supply deliveries
• Process prescriptions and medication orders, ensuring correct preparation and labeling

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active, clear pharmacy technician license valid in Kansas
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience with IV compounding; sterile compounding experience beneficial
• Familiarity with Meditech software preferred, enabling efficient workflow integration
