Pharmacy Technician | Nipomo, California

A health system’s Infusion Center on California’s Central Coast is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to provide coverage during an expected leave of absence. This role offers a chance to engage in specialized inpatient and infusion pharmacy practice within a collaborative team environment.

Location:

• Nipomo, CA

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• Day shifts

Contract Details:

• Approximately 8 weeks coverage
• Potential to transition to a permanent position based on mutual fit

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, and dispense infusion medications accurately and safely
• Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and health system protocols
• Provide patient counseling and education regarding infusion therapies
• Monitor inventory and coordinate medication ordering as needed

Qualifications:

• Valid California Pharmacist license required
• PGY1 residency completed or a minimum of one year of inpatient or infusion pharmacy experience
• Full-time availability preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
