Pharmacy Technician | Norristown, Pennsylvania

A reputable outpatient pharmacy is seeking experienced Pharmacy Technicians to support their team in a contract-to-hire capacity. This role offers the opportunity to contribute in a fast-paced pharmacy environment within a well-respected healthcare setting.

Location:
Philadelphia, PA (800 Spruce Street)
Local candidates only

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (flexible within 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM)
• Weekend shifts possible on Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately preparing and dispensing medications under pharmacist supervision
• Managing outpatient pharmacy inventory and restocking supplies
• Assisting with prescription filling and verification processes
• Providing excellent customer service and supporting patients with medication questions
• Maintaining compliance with all regulatory and safety standards

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of retail pharmacy technician experience
• PTCB or equivalent national certification is required (PA state licensure is not regulated)
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends
• Effective communication skills and ability to work within a healthcare team
