A pharmacy technician opportunity is available for a per diem assignment from September 8 to 10 in Pottstown, Pennsylvania. This role involves supporting pharmacists in providing excellent service and accurate prescription processing within a retail pharmacy setting.
Schedule:
- September 8-10
- Tuesday through Thursday
- 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- 1st shift
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter patient information and prescription orders accurately into the computer system.
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing prescription medications.
- Manage and order over-the-counter (OTC) inventory to maintain adequate stock levels.
- Greet and assist customers, addressing their questions and concerns with excellent customer service.
- Collaborate with third-party prescription plans to resolve adjudication issues for timely prescription processing.
Qualifications:
- Active and clear pharmacy technician license in Pennsylvania.
- Minimum of 1 year retail pharmacy experience.
- Experience with Pioneer Rx is highly preferred.
