Seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician for a short-term, per diem assignment in Pottstown, Pennsylvania, from September 8 to 10. This role involves supporting pharmacy operations during first shift hours, helping to ensure efficient prescription processing and excellent customer service.
Schedule:
- Tuesday to Thursday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1st shift)
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately enter patient information and prescription orders into the pharmacy computer system.
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications safely and correctly.
- Manage and reorder over-the-counter (OTC) inventory to maintain adequate stock levels.
- Provide friendly, professional service by greeting customers and addressing their concerns.
- Resolve issues with third-party prescription plan adjudications to facilitate smooth prescription processing.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active and clear Pharmacy Technician license in Pennsylvania.
- Minimum of 1 year retail pharmacy experience.
- Experience with Pioneer Rx software is highly preferred.
