A contract opportunity is available for Indiana Licensed Pharmacy Technicians to support retail pharmacy operations at a community hospital pharmacy in North Judson, IN. This role requires pharmacy technicians with retail experience to handle order entry and customer service functions efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately enter medication orders using the PioneerRx system (experience preferred)
  • Ring up customers and provide excellent retail pharmacy support
  • Collaborate with pharmacy staff to maintain smooth operations
  • Provide coverage at a sister retail pharmacy location once trained and as needed
  • Participate in a required three-day training and orientation prior to starting

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Current Indiana Pharmacy Technician License
  • Retail pharmacy experience required
  • Familiarity with PioneerRx system preferred
  • PTCB certification needed to cover sister facility
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small pharmacy team
  • Business casual dress code compliance
  • Local candidates preferred due to on-site training requirement

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (40 hours/week)
  • Every other Saturday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Pharmacy staff includes a manager, pharmacist, and two technicians, creating a close-knit team environment. This contract assignment starts on June 29th and continues until a permanent technician is hired, offering a stable, ongoing position.
