Pharmacy Technician | Norwalk, Ohio

This opportunity is tailored for a Pharmacy Technician experienced in inpatient hospital settings seeking a contract-to-hire position with a unique 7 on, 7 off schedule during overnight hours. Work from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM, typically Thursday through Thursday, in a fast-paced inpatient hospital environment utilizing Meditech for order entry and Pyxis for automation management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and dispense medications following physician orders.
• Manage inventory and restock automated systems, including Pyxis.
• Perform sterile compounding in strict adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate closely with clinical staff to ensure optimal patient care.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current Ohio Pharmacy Technician license.
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT).
• Proven inpatient pharmacy experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in sterile compounding.
• Familiarity with Pyxis automation systems.
• Proficiency with Meditech order entry system preferred.

Location:

• Position is based in Norwalk, OH.

Schedule:

• 7 days on and 7 days off.
• Night shift from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM, typically Thursday to Thursday.
