Per Diem Pharmacy Tech | Oakland, California

Support outpatient pharmacy operations in a dynamic community care setting in Oakland, CA as a Pharmacy Technician on a per diem basis. This role is designed to provide coverage during staff absences, including sick days, vacations, and call-outs, offering flexible work opportunities with the potential for full-time positions in the future.

Location:

• Oakland, CA

Schedule:

• Monday through Saturday
• 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Perform retail pharmacy duties as directed by the Director of Pharmacy (DOP)
• Assist pharmacists with prescription preparation and dispensing
• Maintain accurate patient and prescription records
• Provide exceptional customer service and answer medication-related inquiries
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Valid California Pharmacy Technician License
• Experience in retail pharmacy is preferred but candidates from any pharmacy background will be considered
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
