Pharmacy Technicians are needed to support a busy hospital pharmacy in Oakland, CA. This contract opportunity offers the potential for full-time hours with multiple shift options, ideal for candidates with some pharmacy technician experience, particularly those familiar with IV medication preparation.

Schedule/Hours:

• Shifts starting at 6:00 AM, 8:00 AM, 10:00 AM, 12:00 PM, 1:00 PM, and 3:00 PM
• 8.5-hour shifts with a 30-minute lunch break

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently
• Supporting sterile IV medication compounding and related preparation processes
• Maintaining proper documentation and ensuring compliance with safety standards
• Managing inventory and restocking as needed
• Collaborating with pharmacy staff to ensure smooth operations throughout the shifts

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a pharmacy technician, preferably with some exposure to IV preparation
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospital environment
