This per diem opportunity is for a Pharmacy Technician position in an outpatient/community care setting located in Oakland, CA. The role offers a flexible schedule covering Monday through Saturday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. As a per diem position, you will provide essential coverage for sick days, vacations, and call-outs, with potential consideration for future full-time roles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform retail pharmacy duties as directed by the Director of Pharmacy
- Accurately prepare and dispense medications
- Assist pharmacists in day-to-day pharmacy operations
- Maintain patient records and adhere to safety protocols
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare staff
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid California Pharmacy Technician license required
- Previous retail pharmacy experience preferred but all relevant backgrounds will be considered
