Per Diem Pharmacy Technician in Oakland, CA

A healthcare facility in Oakland, CA is seeking two Per Diem Pharmacy Technicians to provide essential support in their outpatient/community care setting. These positions serve to cover sick days, vacations, and call-outs, with the potential to transition into full-time roles.

Location: Oakland, CA
Setting: Outpatient/Community Care
Schedule: Monday through Saturday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Job Type: Per Diem

Responsibilities:

• Perform retail pharmacy duties as directed by the Director of Pharmacy
• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications
• Maintain accurate patient and prescription records
• Manage inventory and restock supplies as needed
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare staff

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid California Pharmacy Technician License
• Experience in retail pharmacy preferred but candidates from other pharmacy backgrounds are encouraged to apply
• Ability to work flexible hours covering multiple days including weekends
• Strong communication and organizational skills
