Pharmacy Technician – Per Diem Opportunity
This position offers long-term, open-ended work at a busy county hospital pharmacy serving a large urban population. The role operates mainly on weekdays and provides a valuable opportunity for pharmacy technicians seeking flexible, consistent hours with potential variability in weekly schedules.

Schedule/Hours:
- Per diem
- Approximately 3 to 4 days per week
- Average of 24 hours per week, with some weeks up to 40+ hours
- Shifts start at 6 am, 8 am, 10 am, 12 pm, 1 pm, and 3 pm
- 8.5-hour shifts including a 30-minute lunch break
Responsibilities:
- Assist in dispensing medications accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced retail pharmacy setting
- Support pharmacists with inventory management, prescription preparation, and patient interaction
- Utilize EPIC and Omnicell systems to manage medication orders and documentation
- Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- Provide reliable, professional service to diverse patient populations in the county hospital setting
Desired Experience:
- Pharmacy technician certification or relevant training; new graduates are welcome to apply
- Familiarity with retail pharmacy operations
- Experience or ability to quickly learn EPIC and Omnicell technology platforms
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a busy environment
