Pharmacy Technician | Oakland, California

A pharmacy technician role is available supporting a special project in the Bay Area. This contract opportunity is ideal for certified technicians ready to contribute quickly and earn promptly. The assignment will begin immediately and run through May 31.

Schedule:

• Four days, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• Six evenings, 1:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Location: Bay Area, Union City, CA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fill prescriptions under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.
• Prepackage medications following regulatory standards.
• Assist pharmacists with final prescription checks, including labeling for review and post-review packaging.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery to customers.
• Support inventory management by receiving, rotating stock, and documenting lot numbers and expiration dates.
• Contribute to maintaining a clean, safe work environment, including equipment checks.

Note: This role focuses on prescription fulfillment—no compounding or IV preparations involved.

Qualifications:

• Current California Pharmacy Technician license is required.
• Ability to work under direction and adhere to established protocols and safety standards.
• Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
