A pharmaceutical production opportunity is available in the Bay Area for licensed Pharmacy Technicians ready to contribute to a special project. This contract role offers an immediate start with assignments through the end of May and is ideal for technicians seeking to earn quickly while applying their skills in a fast-paced pharmacy fulfillment environment.
Location: Bay Area, California (Oakland/Union City vicinity) Contract Duration: Immediate start - May 31 Schedule:
- Four days, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Six evenings, 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in filling prescriptions under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist
- Prepackage medications for dispensing in compliance with regulatory standards
- Support Pharmacist with final prescription checks, including medication staging and packaging post-review
- Coordinate timely and accurate medication delivery to customers
- Maintain inventory accuracy by receiving, rotating medications and supplies, and recording lot numbers and expiration dates
- Collaborate with Pharmacy Management to ensure a clean, safe, and well-maintained work environment, including equipment calibration and safety checks
Qualifications:
- Active California Pharmacy Technician license in hand
- Experience in pharmacy production or medication fulfillment preferred
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment
- Detail-oriented approach to inventory and medication handling procedures
