Pharmacy Technician | Oakland, California

Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications within the inpatient pharmacy
• Support IV medication preparation and handling, ensuring accuracy and safety
• Utilize technology systems like EPIC and Omnicell for medication management and documentation
• Communicate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure timely medication delivery
• Maintain inventory and adhere to all hospital protocols and regulatory requirements

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Pharmacy Technician certification required
• Previous experience in a hospital or inpatient pharmacy setting highly preferred
• Exposure to IV medication preparation is a strong plus
• Comfortable working in a busy, high-pressure trauma center environment
• Familiarity with EPIC and Omnicell technology systems beneficial

Schedule/Hours:

• Shifts begin at 6:00 am, 8:00 am, 10:00 am, 12:00 pm, 1:00 pm, and 3:00 pm
• 8.5-hour shifts including a 30-minute lunch break

• Inpatient facility in Oakland, CA
