A specialty pharmacy in the San Diego area is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join their team on a contract basis. This role offers an opportunity to work in a focused environment assisting with the processing and preparation of specialty medications. The position is available for immediate start with a 13-week duration and potential to transition into a permanent role.

Location:

• Oceanside, CA (specialty pharmacy serving San Diego)

Schedule:

• 8-hour day shifts from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
• Some weekends required

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill and prepare specialty pharmacy prescriptions
• Process medication authorizations to ensure timely patient access
• Maintain inventory and handle pharmacy documentation as needed
• Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare providers to support workflow

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current California Pharmacy Technician license or certification
• Experience working in a specialty pharmacy setting preferred
• Proven ability to process medication authorizations efficiently
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
