Pharmacy Technician in Old Hickory, TN

A retail pharmacy in Old Hickory, TN (near Nashville) is seeking a dependable and customer-focused Pharmacy Technician to support daily operations and ensure excellent patient service. This full-time, contract position offers consistent hours in a collaborative team environment.

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM (some Saturdays required)

Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists with prescription processing and filling to ensure accuracy and efficiency
• Provide excellent customer service, answering patient questions and addressing concerns
• Handle prescription intake, data entry, and insurance claim processing
• Maintain workflow efficiency and keep the pharmacy organized
• Support daily retail pharmacy operations to promote smooth functioning of the team

Qualifications:

• Certified Pharmacy Technician preferred
• Experience working in a retail pharmacy setting is required
• Familiarity with Liberty pharmacy software is an advantage
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
• Excellent communication skills and a patient-focused mindset
