A retail pharmacy is seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Pharmacy Technician to support daily operations in Old Hickory, TN, near Nashville. This full-time position offers a structured schedule with opportunities to apply your skills in prescription processing, customer service, and pharmacy workflow management.
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM (Some Saturdays Required)
Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists in processing and filling prescriptions accurately and efficiently
- Deliver exceptional customer service to patients, addressing questions and providing guidance
- Manage prescription intake, data entry, and insurance claim processing with attention to detail
- Maintain an organized pharmacy environment and ensure smooth workflow throughout the day
- Support overall retail pharmacy operations to maximize patient satisfaction and safety
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Certification as a Pharmacy Technician is highly preferred
- Proven experience working in a retail pharmacy setting
- Familiarity with Liberty pharmacy software is a plus
- Strong communication skills with a focus on customer care
- Dependable and able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
