A retail pharmacy in Old Hickory, TN is seeking a dependable, customer-focused Pharmacy Technician to support daily operations and assist pharmacists. This full-time role offers a structured weekday schedule with some Saturday hours and the opportunity to contribute directly to patient care by ensuring the efficient processing and filling of prescriptions.
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM (some Saturdays required)
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists in prescription processing and filling to maintain timely service
- Provide friendly, professional customer service to patients in-person and over the phone
- Manage prescription intake, enter data accurately, and handle insurance processing details
- Maintain pharmacy workflow efficiency and organizational standards
- Support the operations of the retail pharmacy team in a fast-paced environment
Desired Qualifications:
- Certified Pharmacy Technician credential highly preferred
- Previous retail pharmacy experience required
- Experience with Liberty pharmacy software is a beneficial asset
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
