Per Diem Pharmacy Technician | Olney, Illinois

A retail and long-term care pharmacy is seeking an experienced pharmacist to provide expert medication dispensing and counsel customers on proper medication use. This per diem role is based in Lawrenceville, IL, and offers scheduled shifts on select Mondays and Fridays from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, each shift lasting 9 hours.

Responsibilities include accurately distributing medications prescribed by licensed health practitioners, ensuring prescriptions are filled in compliance with regulations, and delivering exceptional customer service by answering medication-related questions and providing clear guidance on usage. The pharmacist will play a critical role in promoting safe medication practices and supporting patient health outcomes.

Ideal candidates should hold a valid Illinois pharmacist license and possess relevant experience in retail or long-term care pharmacy settings. Strong communication skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining the highest quality in pharmaceutical care.

Schedule:

• Mondays: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Fridays: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
