A reputable healthcare provider is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to support their retail and long-term care pharmacy operations in Lawrenceville, IL. This role offers per diem hours, providing flexibility for professionals who thrive in dynamic, patient-focused environments.

Location:

• Lawrenceville, IL (Retail/Long-Term Care setting)

Schedule:

• Monday and Fridays, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (9 hours per day)
• Specific dates include multiple Mondays and Fridays spanning mid-February through mid-March

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescription medications accurately as prescribed by physicians and other healthcare practitioners
• Counsel patients and customers regarding medication usage, potential side effects, and safe handling
• Deliver exceptional customer service while ensuring compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient care and medication management

Qualifications:

• Active Illinois Pharmacist license is required
• Experience in retail and/or long-term care pharmacy settings is strongly preferred
