- Lawrenceville, IL (Retail/Long-Term Care setting)
Schedule:
- Monday and Fridays, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (9 hours per day)
- Specific dates include multiple Mondays and Fridays spanning mid-February through mid-March
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispense prescription medications accurately as prescribed by physicians and other healthcare practitioners
- Counsel patients and customers regarding medication usage, potential side effects, and safe handling
- Deliver exceptional customer service while ensuring compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient care and medication management
Qualifications:
- Active Illinois Pharmacist license is required
- Experience in retail and/or long-term care pharmacy settings is strongly preferred
