Pharmacy Technician - Ooltewah, TN

A mail order compounding pharmacy located in Chattanooga, Tennessee is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician with expertise in sterile compounding. This role is well suited for a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) who has hands-on sterile compounding experience and thrives in a fast-paced pharmacy environment. The position offers a Contract to Hire opportunity, working second shift hours.

Location

• Chattanooga, Tennessee

Schedule

• Monday through Friday
• 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM (2nd Shift)

Responsibilities

• Perform sterile compounding duties in accordance with pharmacy procedures and safety standards
• Assist in preparing medications for mail order fulfillment
• Adhere to USP guidelines and pharmacy protocols
• Maintain accuracy in labeling, packaging, and documentation
• Support pharmacists and pharmacy staff with daily workflow operations
• Ensure compounding areas are clean, organized, and compliant with regulations
• Comply with all state, federal, and pharmacy regulations

Qualifications

• Active Tennessee Pharmacy Technician license required
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) designation required
• Proven experience with sterile compounding is essential
• Previous experience in mail order or compounding pharmacy preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work 2nd shift hours, Monday through Friday
• Reliable, professional, and effective in a team environment
