Pharmacy Technician in Ooltewah, TN

A full-time Pharmacy Technician role is available at a mail order compounding pharmacy located in Chattanooga, Tennessee. This position is ideal for a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) with hands-on sterile compounding experience looking to contribute to a fast-paced pharmacy environment on the 2nd shift schedule, Monday through Friday, from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The opportunity is contract to hire, allowing you to demonstrate your skills and potentially transition to a permanent role.

Responsibilities:

• Perform sterile compounding duties accurately and safely in line with pharmacy procedures
• Prepare medications for mail order fulfillment following all relevant protocols
• Adhere to USP guidelines and maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
• Ensure precision in labeling, packaging, and thorough documentation
• Support pharmacists and other pharmacy staff to optimize daily workflow
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in compounding areas, ensuring regulatory compliance

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Tennessee Pharmacy Technician license is mandatory
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) credential required
• Proven sterile compounding experience essential
• Previous experience with mail order or compounding pharmacy operations is preferred
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and professionalism
• Ability to work the specified 2nd shift hours consistently
