A Specialty Infusion Pharmacy in Orange Cove, CA is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join their team on a 13-week contract with potential for temp-to-hire. This role offers consistent Monday through Friday daytime hours, providing a stable schedule in a specialized pharmacy setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Input patient demographics, insurance details, and process medication refills, including billing claims and authorization requests.
• Label and package injectable, oral, topical medications, and ancillary supplies according to patient orders.
• Prepare and coordinate shipments, confirm deliveries with patients, and reconcile shipments against packing slips.
• Unpack medication deliveries and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Perform daily and monthly cleaning and disinfection of the IV room in compliance with USP <797> standards and company policies.
• Deliver exceptional customer service through clear verbal and written communication.
• Support the 340B program and assist with various pharmacy operations as needed.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• California Pharmacy Technician License required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in hospital, ambulatory care, or infusion pharmacy settings.
• Familiarity with IV medication preparation and handling is essential.
• Local candidates preferred for ease of onboarding and team integration.
