This opportunity is for an experienced Pharmacy Technician to provide high-quality support in a busy retail setting located in Orange Park, FL. This role requires a proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is dedicated to exceptional patient care and teamwork. The position is a contract assignment lasting approximately 8 weeks, with the possibility of extension based on performance and fit.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
  • Friday: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform typical retail pharmacy duties including high-volume data entry and medication dispensing.
  • Maintain a steady pace while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Engage in clear communication with patients, providers, and team members to support optimal care.
  • Display pharmacy intuition by identifying needs and stepping in proactively to assist in daily operations.
  • Uphold a positive attitude and strong commitment to reliability and punctuality.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years recent high-volume retail pharmacy technician experience; candidates with outdated experience will not be considered.
  • Experience dispensing HIV/AIDS medications is highly preferred and must be noted on the resume.
  • Licensed as a Pharmacy Technician in Florida.
  • Proficient with QS1 pharmacy software.
