An urgent need exists for a Pharmacy Technician to support high-volume retail pharmacy operations in Orange Park, FL. This contract position offers an opportunity to contribute to a dedicated healthcare team serving a diverse patient population, including those requiring specialized HIV/AIDS medication management.

Location

  • Orange Park, FL

Schedule

  • Monday through Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
  • Friday: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM

Responsibilities

  • Perform high-volume data entry and medication dispensing accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain a fast pace to meet the demands of a busy retail pharmacy environment
  • Provide exceptional patient care with strong communication and support
  • Collaborate effectively with pharmacy team members and healthcare providers
  • Proactively identify pharmacy workflow needs and assist accordingly
  • Utilize QS1 pharmacy software proficiently to manage prescriptions and records

Qualifications & Desired Experience

  • Current Florida Pharmacy Technician license required
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a high-volume retail pharmacy setting
  • Experience with HIV/AIDS medication dispensing is highly preferred and must be clearly noted on the resume
  • Proven ability to maintain punctuality and reliability with a positive, proactive attitude
  • Strong communication skills and commitment to patient support and teamwork

  • This contract role is expected to last 8 weeks with potential for extension based on performance and fit
  • Candidates will need to provide an updated resume, one manager reference, and a copy of their Florida pharmacy technician license
